Brake Pad Sensor / Resetting
Hi,
I was getting my front pads and discs change yesterday, but didnt change the sensor. I then decided to reset the CBS for the brake pads for front, and all it goes wrong, with the warning ....etc showing up on the cluster / idrive saying pads are due for front and rear. Since then, i wouldnt be able to reset the counter. My guess would be I need a pair of new sensor for front and rear? as the computer is looking for a different reading from the sensor, since i was resetting it? Anyone can point me to the right direction? Cheers |

Yep, new sensors. They are pretty cheap and should be changed with pads.
If you want to get rid of the warnings as a temporary fix you can cut the pad sensor end off the existing sensor wire and join the two spliced wires together. |

Thanks guys.
I was planning to change them, just that GSF supplied me the rear instead of front and its too long to use for front. I only realise when I was trying to fit them. The new ones are on order now, things should get sorted then |
