I went to the naviokun website (not that I understand a single thing besides the pictures) and there was a pic with the OEM radio in the trunk(?). Why is that (necessary)?

Because,
We can connect for update of an engine program.
If OEM radio take out, we can not connect.
I do not understand in detail, but the naviokun said so maybe...

I did not replace sideskirts.
The 320si stock sideskirts is original M-Sport aeroparts.
