Low tire light - Updated

About a week ago i put up a post about a low tire light and i cam to the conclusion that my TPMS needed to be replaced on my front passenger tire. Yesterday i got into the car and this happened. All 4 came on. How can this happen? I checked tire pressure on all 4 and its normal.

Go though the stalk to see the Check Control and press the BC button in once. On each CC message, you can hold the BC button down for several seconds until it tells you the CC ID of the fault. Look the fault up on Google, there are some detailed lists I found a while back.

Also, have you reset the TPMS? You have to press and hold the BC button once it says RESET, not just press and release.

Sometimes the change in temperature if large will do this. Sometimes the system just glitches. Reset it and and if it happens again scan the car for error codes

Might have some other hard fault. A shop with an Autologic or even a BT tool should be able to see some fault. Earlier cars (up to 2010 I believe) have a TMPS in each wheel, an exciter antenna under the car, and 4 receiver antennas, one inside each fender liner. Later cars have just one centralized antenna to receive all 4 wheel TPMS. A problem with any of the antennas or the exciter will take out the system.
