"Best looking" is subjective dude. Get what you like. I opted for BBS RGR in diamond black. Some of my friends love them while others don't.

That's life.

OEM or aftermarket? If you're going OEM, my opinion is style 162, the only downside is they're HEAVY! For aftermarket wheels, most CSL style wheels look great on the e90.

Notice how all the wheels are quite wide and offsets are pretty close to flush with fender.
This is only my opion, but i think 18inch needs to be wide and offsets needs to be something that is flush with fender. To make it look good.
I will soon have apex arc8 18x9.5 allround

I agree for APEX wheels, I don't track but for the light weight and durability against pot holes, go with this but still drive to avoid them as much possible.

style 219's (oem e90x M3 wheels) on my 07 328i zsp. Because of the aggressive offsets, the biggest tire you can fit in the back is a 255/35 if you don't want to rub (it does stretch slightly).

Then you should really consider those Apex arc 8 wheels. They fit the budget.
Also very light 18x9.5 (18.8lbs) and strong.Apex arc8 is widely used on the track.

Thatīs what i did, but still waiting to arrive.I ordered

18x9.5 et35 front (235/40/18)
18x9.5 et22 rear (235/40/18)

I went 9.5 allround because anything narrower arent concave.Which is one thing why i wanted them.

9.5 et 35 will fit to stock struts, but with coilovers spacer is needed.Atleast according to owner of that car in that link. When i asked.

Here is more pictures Apex arc-8 bottom of the first post.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=468511

You could go 18x10 et25 rear with 265/35/18 so you get more grip. You might
need little roll to rear fenders.

I actually PM'd that very same guy before my purchase, but then I realized that 235 on a 9.5 would be WAY too stretched for my taste. I have 235 on a 8" and its just about perfect in my view, I cannot imagine what it would look like with 1.5 more inch rim. Maybe buying a tire that runs wide with a wide edge (like PS2's I think??) would help.

Yeah, totally on personal taste. Here is the opposite end of the spectrum:

The tire actually is wider than the rim.. I would have considered these, but it got too warm too soon here to run on my winters until possibly June.

BBS rims look nice on BMW, but the color of the rims depend on what color your car is. For example, I have a space gray and glossy black would looks so sexy on it.
