What Phone Cradle do i have?

Is there any easy way to find out what phone cradle i have in my arm rest?

The overall shape looks like an old Nokia 6210 but it's clearly not for that as the space is more 'square'.

Sorry for the dumb/lazy question. I'll admit i haven't even looked into how i take it out.....

Is there any chance that you've got the four page fitting instructions for your cradle in your manual folder? That will tell you the model(s).

I think that switch just turns the aircon on to cool a drink you have in the holder.

To release the cradle push the button that looks like a speaker on the right of the picture. On the bottom of the cradle, once you get it out, it will say what the cradle is for.

willhollin and xenon are right about the cooling.

If you're interested in a cradle for a Nokia 6320i I have one I'm not using, don't need, and want to be rid of.

Its a Nokia 6300. Ta SY.

So next question is......if don't use it, and would like remove it, can you take the rest of it out to create more space in the arm rest. I.e the unit with TCU written on it?

i.e has anyone bothered?

I suppose you could remove it by simply reversing the installation instructions. There might be a couple of plugs you'd need to terminate the various cables, though.
