Quick question, will the boost gauge hack still work if the tablet is not plugged in you set it?

actually didn't try that but i highly doubt it....i beleive the tablet will still need to be plugged into the OBD port in order for the fuel/boost guage to work.

Will it immediately return as soon as its plugged back in? Or does it need to be switched on again?

I'm still having the issue with the "In Dash Boost Gauges" I updated the tablet two separate times manually with the template 2 upgrade as well as manually re-downloading the v.1.02 or whatever Open Flash Manager.... I am getting the following error after enabling dash gauges.. it takes about 15-30 seconds to come up after viewing the realtime data display "Sorry operation failed, please quit"

+1
Another cause for that error message is running another canbus device at the same time.

The next step i would take if i were you is completely uninstall openflash manager software on your computer and then start fresh by downloading the v.1.02 off the vishnu website so you know you definitely have the correct updated version and then after its downloaded start up openflash manager and then plug your device in and update to template 2 and try to reconnect to the car

I was getting this message before, what computer are you running? I was using parallels on my MacBook and it would always lose connection with the tablet halfway through the update process, which would corrupt my protocol file. I ended up using someone else's PC and the update worked no problem and haven't got that message since.

I uninstalled and have now downloaded v.1.02 off the vishnu website and upgraded to template 2. I am still getting the same error

You don't need a laptop. Even a desktop computer with a wifi connection will work.

My desktop is old and outdated, it wouldn't even run this... can someone try connecting to my computer and helping?
