also id love to know if it would be feasable to bake these open and install a CCFL angel eye kit. they must be easier to get open than the OEM units, and with a little elbow grease itd be well worth it. These angel eyes are ok, but lacking when compared to CCFL or proper LED AE.
maybe this sounds a bit crazy, but if the old rings are easily removable it would GLADLY risk it

Euro, I picked up my DEPO 90's with a lifetime warranty (8k HIDs installed, 60 LED's per AE ring) on ebay. I know, I know..it's ebay. But, It is a lifetime warranty, it is legit DEPO, and it's prewired into a relay. Total package just under 600 bucks.
But Jlevi seems to be a great service, so if you want to support their business I'd hold out 2 or so weeks until they stock the better AEs. |

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...Q5fAccessories I'm pretty sure they are the same product as umnitza offers. 600 bucks is 600 bucks, so if they work they do..and if not..I'll call Jlevi to rescue me with a new set! |

Yeah, Jlevi was my first choice, too. And I still order otherp arts from 'em!
But, I ordered them Tuesday and UPS says they'll be here Monday (tomorrow). Considering it's all pre wired, I should just be able to pop them right in. I'll take a few picks for this thread as well. |

Will do.
I just took my freind up to the videogame store (full Florida daylight, not a cloud in the perfect blue sky) and while we're stopped at a red light he's staring at a E92 accross from us (w/ CCFL) and says "hey, his lights look cooler than yours. They're..circular or something.." Since at this point I knew he had zero knowledge concerning highend headlights, I quized him on various looks and brands of LED front ends while pulling up pics of each on my iphone (Audi lights, Benz + Porsche LED bars etc). I assumed he had no bias, but he chose BMW's AEs because they actually looked "natural" (his words), not simply a bar of LEDs or a bent-bar of LEDs installed in the headlight assembly (Audi). This only made my anxiety about getting these puppies installed all the more palpable in the air haha. |

This set from ebay is $600. Isn't it cheaper to order everything from Jlevi? I think I calculate for everything include the error canceler for like $500 plus shipping.
I have halogen on mine now and planning to switch to xenon and is looking around. It seem that Jlevi is most affordable and so far I only hear good things about them ... so leaning toward them. |

You are absolutly right. I'm waiting for feedback from odomPHD about the quality of the lights. They claim it is from Germany but the company is acually Taiwaneese. That makes me worry, although it is a big company. But the EA's are looking so great....And I soooo hate my halogen headlights...

OdomPHD, please post a picture of the beam pattern against a wall after you install them. The ebay ad says they're using a high quality projector lens made in Germany. I'm wondering if the beam pattern will look better than the other depo90 lights'.

Don't buy DEPO!
I'll post up some facts here in a few hours, but let's say the Tiwaneese were never very high on my list of "Trusted Manufacturers." They should stick with baby shoe and paper plate production to be honest. Best to keep it simple and not taint my beloved Bimmer. |

I will see and wait for the results from OdomPHD. There is lots of stuff made in the questionable countries and the stuff is good. It depends on the supervision and final control of the original company. For example all the Iphones are made in China, CPU's are made in Malaysia and so on.
