M3 spoiler installation
So, I'm thinking of buying an m3 spoiler for my Black Sapphire e90. It's really expensive to get it at the dealership, so I'm thinking of going to ebay or M-Force... But, they come with 3M strips that I've been told to stay away from.
So, my question is, do you think the BMW dealership will install one of these spoilers? Any suggestions as to which spoiler is best? Or, any spoilers I should check out... |

I just put on my M3 spoiler with the 3M strips (I'm seeing double). It will definitely hold. Go to Home Depot and buy some. It's cheaper than Staples. Make sure you get the thinner version. I got the thicker one by accident so there is a very tiny gap btwn the spoiler and trunk.
What I did was I cut the tape in half and applied it to the spoiler by tracking it along the outer edge. It will be harder to apply if you leave it as one long strip. |

Who the hell told you to stay away from 3M tape?? That thing will stick the M3 spoiler like no other onto your trunk.

From the factory...I believe M3 spoilers are attached with tape.
