Meets were proper in those days. Standing about in a desolate car park trying to light a barbeque in the rain. None of this hotel nonsense.

Ah, yes. The good times. BTW, the problem was the wind, not the rain at UK3 (17 March 2007). For the most part, the first three or four meets looked like it would rain at the beginning but not a drop fell. I even brought a folding gazebo just in case and it's still in it's case, never been opened.
