Pandemonia was first, then Fx1 and now Diseasel. Would be easy to spot even if the IP addresses were not the same.

I have been watching 330d cars for a while and my spec required Xenons and 2007/2008 sub 50k miles, although I have mostly been observing manual cars - because that is what I wanted.
Prices are very variable and not much is moving (or was that only the manual cars?). I bought a car and paid £14,800, which at the time I thought was about right. After further observation of the market I think I paid too much. It's spec is: 2007 / 57 49k miles, leather, Xenons, Prof Sat Nav with BMW assist and connected drive, telematics, iPod integration. I reckon that I paid £800 - £1000 too much; i think I was too keen since manual cars with the Xenons and sat nav are relatively uncommon. The asking price on the car had been £15,600. Danny's car was for sale for a LONG time before he bought it for £13,995 and the dealer never reduced the asking price in 2 months of it being on the market. I think his car was low mileage (2006/33k) and was pretty much standard apart from grey dakota leather and heated seats. I'm sure he negotiated some discount and/or a good trade in on that price. Your car is very well specified, newer but higher mileage. I think it ought to sell for £14 - £15k after negotiation, but I am not sure how easy it will be to get this price in the current market when everything is moving very slowly. |

The above car has been for sale for about 3 months! and these for about two months: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...1500?logcode=p http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...1500?logcode=p This one seems to have been listed today and clearly demonstrates that I did NOT pay too much for mine - either that or this guy lives in some sort of fantasy world!!! http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...eat4?logcode=p Last edited by Sir_Pigley; 08-16-2011 at 05:34 AM.. |

Yep. I'd also thought the same: And am proud to boast being the first to lose his rag with this latest iteration (Foxes topic)

I was talking to someone last night whose son works in accounts at our local BMW dealership. He said sales of used cars has been very slow this year.
But strangely, for new cars they have had their best year for a while. |

Relatively high miles, so I would say 12-12k tops, if you are lucky

Hi all, (first post!)
Been looking at 320 coupes for a while then this cropped up http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...s/60?logcode=p Ended up taking it for a test drive and whatnot and fell in love, i need a 335 in my life! Unfortunately i dont think this is the one, had a rattle on startup which after doing some reading up i think is a common fault at low temps?? Also although they were very helpful and offered to change the trim (hate the wood) im after black leather rather than cream. Do they crop up quite often, im in no particular rush. Basically what are the chances of me picking one up for 13-14k trade (got my Z4 to part ex so private sellers no good even though there is a lovely black one on autotrader at the mo). It seems that many people consider sat nav a priority?? Would you push for an approved used?? if i get an SE is it just the seats that i need to make sure have been upgraded to M Sport or there other major differences? And just incase i havent asked enough is there anyone else watching the market and possibly has a breakdown like the below but for 335's as i would find this really helpful, thanks in advance Quote:

I'm sure someone can link you up to them or might come up in a search. Basically at 335 level the cars all come with m sport seats and suspension unless they have asked for the suspension to be removed. Some options can be had on SE models that the m sport has like dark roof lining, black window trim etc. You don't get the M sport bodykit(bumpers and sideskirts) wheels, shorter gearstick and slightly fatter steering wheel. Some guys will not touch a BMW without nav. You, me and plenty of others would. The car you have listed is very cheap. The rattle sounds concerning and if you don't have warranty it could be expensive. Actuator problems are common and it could be that. Also I'd refuse it with those cheap tyres and wheels too. Are the wheels staggered and tyres the correct sizes? |
