Looking for a E90 DCT but..

Morning all,

Thinking about changing my car and looking for a facelift E90 DCT 335i but there isnt a single one on approved used site. any reason for this ?. Very few dct in coupe and the cheapest being around 28k. Any Idea when the N55 engine was introduced in these cars as I want to avoid them but want a dct not normal auto box. Thanks

IIRC the E90 was only offered with the DCT box in M3 form, hence your problem.

Unless you fancy a 135i, the newer ones have the N55 and the DCT box

As does the coupe e92 335i, just not the e90 saloon.

So you can't buy a 335i coupe DCT with N54?

I think DCT was released in 2010 after the intro of N55. I thought the only N54 with DCT was the 335is which is not sold in the UK.. Could be wrong!

I had a 58 plate 335i E92 Coupe with DCT.

Not the best photo, but it might give you an idea.

New cars have left paddle to downshift and right to up shift. The ones in the photo did up & down on either side.
