Haha...
I'm the young guy , but mine is silver 3er i went there around 10am.

lol brake error again, looks like this is very common problem. it happens to me twice already, and i have no idea if this might happen again next month.
Anyway, BMW havent ring me yet to pick up my car ( its 4.26pm now ).

They will pretty much keep updating the software hoping to fix the problem.

When (sorry to say) it happens again speak to the service manager or your salesperson and get them to actually fix the faulty sensor

Assuming it's not an actual sensor gone wrong.

Book the car in again and insist they raise a PUMA case. This will result in a total software reload on the car. Might take 2 days unless you get the car there very early in the morning and have the PUMA stuff sorted in advance.

Basically BMW have a software fix for the issue but it's a full reload which takes 1+ days and obviously costs them a fair amount of $. So instead they try to do a minor patch update which does not always work.

The PUMA thingy sounds good, but apart from that speak to the service manager, and also the salesperson who sold you the car.

If they don't want to help ring BMW head office, and/or send them a letter.

From all accounts BMW do look after you in the end.

My neighbour has this problem occur 3 times, before he took his car back and it was there for a little over a week.

This was a few months ago and it hasn't happened since the car had it's long service at BMW.

no replacement car for me , because learner license. and they wont accept my overseas license. they gave me a lift back to home, which is ok with 7series again.

anyway, one of the service guy told me, they might fix the car within 1-2hours. ( i am assuming program update, looks like same shit will happen again, i told him to raise puma case and lets see what happen later today ) very sad if this happen again in the future, and i will consider bye bye bmw.
I saw audi R8 near bmw rushcutter and i wish my next ride

I would take the car there and tell them you don't want it back until it is fixed properly.

I know of someone who has this problem now for the 5th time on their 335i.

Last time it was in for service it was away for 10 days.

The dealership has given him a brand new 335i Loan Car this time

I don't like their chances of getting the loan car back.

i've had this problem too. It wasnt so bad at first, i would reset the service (following the service reset diy) and after a drive shut it off, pick something up then get back to the car it would come back. LOL i got tired of reseting it and had the sensors replaced. Still happened once, altho it hasnt happen again now......im thinking of just removing the sensor all together LOL. a mechanic said to me that it might be dirty or combination of water and break dust, etc. making the sensors contact. I did notice that I didnt have this problem duiring the hot summer season... only started after the rain....

I probably shouldn't tell you that the e93 325i's will soon be coming with a 3.0ltr I6 engine instead of the 2.5ltr I6 you got.....
