DIY: Homemade Keyhole Cover

For the people out there with black cars I thought of a VERY inexpensive way to cover those ugly door keyholes, all you need is a small piece of black vinyl, I used BMWShadowline, and an x-acto knife or your finger nail. I think you all know where I’m going with this…

Cut a small square piece of vinyl, big enough to fully cover the keyhole.

Press the vinyl over the keyhole leaving enough vinyl material around to be trimmed later. Use your fingernail to make sure the vinyl is pressed all the way around the edge of the keywhole.

Using an x-acto knife or your finger nail cut/trim around the keyhole and remove excess material.

That’s it! 2 minutes worth of work, and a cost of $0 if you have some spare vinyl around the house. If you don’t, you can always go to your local tint shop and see if they can give you some scrap vinyl.

And if you ever need to use the keyhole just remove it.

Better to just get the cover from bmw (left hand driver buy n/s from uk version and vice versa for right hand drive cars)

Sry but that's all so ghetto as hell...

I don't understand why guys who are buying expensive luxury vehicles are cheaping out right down to the very last penny!

I'd understand bargain hunting or creating a GROUPBUY, but this...rly?!
