I've been running this new map for a few days now. I have had no issues at all, even during adaptation. I've always thought of my 335 as 'quick' but not 'really damn fast' relative to other cars I've been lucky enough to drive. This map is the first one that actually caught me off guard with how fast the boost hit and made me pucker up a bit! Very smooth at all points and transitions with no hiccups or dips at all.
My car is full stage 3 except for my catted rr dp's. Needless to say, I'm really happy with this map . Sorry, no logs or hard data, just 'feelings'. Also, I have not seen more than 15.8 lbs on my gauge. Previous map I would occasionally see 16 - 16.3. Nice work Shiv! |

I don't have any hard data either but this latest map is very smooth.
Seems to come on a bit sooner than before , and solid steady pull till time to shift. Things have been kinda quite lately....makes me wonder whats to come next?? I bet it's something BIG.... |

FWIW, the knock was using 2-19 maps at 90%. This was also in conjunction with my shitty 91oct gas I explained about eariler. I just lowered the UT to 85% and all was golden on the previous 2-19. I'm still on the new beta maps and the car runs like a freight train. I even have the ticket to prove it, sadly.

That's very possible given your high altitude conditions and the fact that most gas stations up there tend to run lower octane since they assume that the high altitude means less compression/cylinder pressure. Unfortunately, this isn't the case with turbo cars as we all know. So, for now, the only solution for you would be to reduce UT until octane or conditions improve. The PROcede will do this automatically very soon. But for now, you'll just need to do it manually. You can try changing plugs as well but, by the sounds of it, it looks like an octane issue. Shiv |

Dave That can't be true. I live a bit north, but when I do go down to ABQ I can find 91oct all over the place. It has been a little while since I've gone down, but it may be possible they downgraded their octane like they have up here.

hey Shiv, quick question...
After updating to this latest 114 firmware with the 5-22 beta map... Would it be fine to run the older 5-08 map on the 114 latest firmware or do i need to install back the 111 firmware? I am asking because I am hitting up an HPDE tomorrow and may wanna try the older 5-08 map on the track also

1 more question for this new beta map...
Reducing the UT to 75% from default 85% will still keep the boost under 16 psi? Reason I am asking is incase the boost spikes/creeps over 16psi in my 30 minutes track session, i would rather keep boost around 14psi if possible

Awesome stuff, my friend is running SSTT on an otherwise stock car and once the new FMIC and DCI is installed, I think the car will be ready for an upgrade to either JB3 or PROcede canbus. The fact that the V3 canbus can clear codes and allow laptop plug/play/tuning I think is starting to grow on me to justify the price. Plus if I am not mistaken V3 can simulate 02's without having to buy sims right? That seems to help make up the price as well, not having to buy all the add-ons.
I think both tunes are performing about the same. I assume both are about the same to install/uninstall too (PnP versions). I just can't see adding anything with that much boost on the stock FMIC, it really can't even keep up with the SSTT which was proven on a dyno the other day... |

I loaded the new maps yesterday (BMW 135i, Procede Rev II non-CANbus, BT tool, Catless DP's, Maddad Axelback, still have factory midpipe) and they are definitely different than the stock maps. Much smoother without that crazy turbo kick above 3500rpm in 3rd gear....I will have to find a place to test them out in the higher gears. Thx for the hard work Shiv!
