From what I was told, tune+full catless exhaust puts the s4 over 410+,
interesting.. if you ask me, thats no pulley or w/m upgrades..

Don't know the specifics but he built it with his father while he was growing up. It was suppose to be a track car but he drives it as a daily driver.

There's this clunk sound that comes from the rear of his car and he says it's because of the diff on the car....can't drive at slow speeds. Not sure if that's right or not.....

But everytime I'm in his car and he floors it I get sucked into my seat....like I can't lift myself out of it. Lol

i think its actually really hard to pull 600hp out of a b6...n/a 4.2 v8.

i used to have a b5 biturbo s4...that was a fun car. did we ever find out which chassis s4 the op raced? URS4 maybe?

its NEARLY impossible to pull that much out of it short of a supercharger and nos, the problem with the b6/b7 is theres almost no room in the engine bay however a few companies dropped some decent supercharger kits...and the sounds is amazing

Apexit, either the 335's you raced were horrible drivers, or they were running like shyt lol...

I have a B8 S4 6mt, I raced my boys 535xi AT several times on different occasions. His car has JB3, down pipes, and exhaust. In map 0, by 50mph I'd take him by about a car and keep moving. In map 4, 50-130 we were side by side going back and forth after each gear shift. In map 7 he'd take me by about 2 cars at 100mph. Map 0 race was off a dig, and Ive only been driving stick for a year so I'm not perfect at launching just yet... but from rolls, I had my shifts down packed.

MTM kits even tho super expensive, were throwing out over 600 on those v8

JHMotorsports is really the company thats really tearing it up and apr just dropped there supercharger kit for the rs4 running like 11.9 all day

They do make that at the crank, but they are heavy AWD cars with stupid high drivetrain loss factors. A full bolt on B6/7 S4 will barely be at 300whp and 300wtq. Plus the cars are NA, pulleys and W/M dont add any power at all to those motors.

Theres only one good option for the S/C on the cars and thats JHM's. But from the time word was let out on it till now I've gone through 4 cars and its still not officially released. I hate waiting.

MTM's kit is crap, they dont release any info on it and it uses a roots style blower which that motor does not take well since there is not enough hood clearance to fit a decent size blower on. They have blown a few motors but we still dont have any solid data on their performance.

The RS4 kit ran an 11.9 after JHM tuned it, a shop car ran an 11.9 twice with the rear seats removed. When customer cars start running that I'll be impressed, the best customer time is a 12.6.

Good thing you didnt! The APR Stage 3 A4 is a tad faster than a full bolt on B6/7 S4 but you will be into the car for well over 10 grand to get a solid performing stage 3 car.

Like I said I didn't want to upset anyone with my post but it's what happened. We were all surprised and to be honest I feel like there must have been something wrong with them but at the same time how could I do that 2 different cars with different drivers.

Because of this I want to dyno and run the 1/4 miles in the car just to see if it is some kind of weird freak from the factory. I sent an email out to a localish shop with a dyno. If you guys want I'l post up on here.

^There have been a few B8 S4's out that that perform significantly better than others, someone ran a 12.69 with a bone stock S4 so its no surprise that you beat a 335 with just a tune

I was referring to the v6t, I was told that tune catless full bolted,
is in the 420 crank, without pulley and w/m tune..

Last I heard the B7's that had all the JHM goodies run around mid 12's, I imagine most modded 335's would be able to hang with them if not pass them. So far on the new B8 chassis the fastest guy is running 12.06 at around 116. He runs 100 oct map, intake and exhaust. He has plans to be in the 11's this year.

Ah, yea they dont get quite up there. A full bolt on B5 will get in the upper 300's but unless you upgrade the turbo's the K03's will run out of steam. Some people do push them to the point of failure but thats not worth it for 95% of the people.

Ha, no problem man. I've had quite a few modded A4's and S4's and am one of the owners of euroaddiction.net, we have pretty much any info you would need to know about S4's over there.

JHM has been doing some solid things with the platform, their S/C S4 just hit 11's and they are running mid 12's with bolt ons, but the cost to get the car there is insane, easily triple of what it takes to get a 335 there. The B8's are going to be quick, we will see quite a few cars in the 11's this year.

It still dont have a sick pulley, with higher flow intake manifold, and w/m tunes..
I call 10-11... I hate that they did call it v6t, its retarded, but the truth is,
Supercharged supposingly is a temporary state, big story behind that not sure if you knew..
