2006 BMW 330i  [0.00]
I believe the 325i/330i from 2006 have the msv70, not 328i/330i as stated before. And 325i/330i e90 are 2006 year models only (in the US).

Also are there any concerns regarding the battery giving out before the 1 hour DME read is complete? Thanks!

I haven't seen a 2006 330i yet but you are correct. At launch will be only be supporting 2007-2011 cars with MSD80 DME. The OFT will install (read and download) the MSV70 but we aren't ready to support the mapping side of things just yet

Hey Shiv,

I have just sent an email to your sales guys asking about price for shipping to Spain.
Also interested in knowing if possible keeping the same price for our 325i in a near future or not (I am ready to order though).
Also interested in knowing about the EU versions?
Taking into account that 91 & 93oct doesn´t make any sense here? How about 95 and 98? As you might remember 325i n52b25 makes 218bhp.

Also I don´t know which one I have got? MSV70 DME? I will try to have a look with my OBD bt device and my phone. Mine is a 06´EU 325i n52b25

I will be willing to help EU customers here.

Cheers

Hi guys,
Just took the test car to a local Dynojet (DNR Performance, Hayward CA) and got some numbers. Stock tune vs OTS Stage 1 tune (on 91oct):

Hi,
Unfortunately, the sales office is closed until after the New Years so you may not get a response until then. We can hold the price for MSV60 users at $395 for the time being since it's not too far away from release. And I suspect this applies to you since 2006 model year (MSD80 started coming in 2007 cars). We do expect to release support for it soon after we launch the MSD80 OFT. In fact, the same OFT unit will be compatible with both the MSV70 and MSD80. Which means that the OFT will work on anything from a 2006 325i to a BMW 1M (N54).
Cheers,
Shiv

On a Dynojet, the mustang dyno is more accurate. So I have heard at least.

I've learned PM's are a terrible way of trying to get an answer from Shiv. If you really want answers, Email is your best bet.

I have a 2006 325i 6-speed manual with BMW performance exhaust. Will soon install my 3-stage manifold and will either get the euro-airbox with a highflow filter or just put a high-flow filter in my US OEM airbox.

I see on your site you do In-House "Open" Custom Dyno Tuning and I'd probably be interested in that and am in Sacramento, so a fairly easy drive to Hayward. Then you'd even have an OTS tune for others that went 3-stage on their 325i I assume. Will the price for the In-house dyno tune also increase soon? Also, why are you charging a shipping cost on the In-house tune?

Please send an email to sales@vishnutuning.com for any questions regarding sales. I'm only involved in product details and on-line tech support from time to time. The sales team will be in the office tomorrow (1/2/14).

Cheers

I can't predict any changes in in-house custom dyno tuning unfortunately. Pricing largely depends on time availability. But we do our best to be accessible for custom dyno tuning. As for shipping cost, ignore it. The online shopping cart does a poor job of distinguishing what items involve shipping and what items don't. When an order is placed through the online cart, payment is not processed. We do that manually with in the info provided and always correct any issues like this. We do expect to have an updated website (with new shopping cart) going live sometime in January though.

Happy new years!

Today should be the day based on Shiv's post that this starts shipping, assuming of course nothing has happened to delay it.

Hi guys,
Our shipment of OFTs was delayed a few days because of the holidays. UPS predicts delivery on Tuesday. So if we get it early enough in the morning, we should be able to ship out all orders that same day. If not, it will be wednesday. Sorry about the unexpected delay!

It should assuming you have an MSD80 DME which you should have given your model year (2007 and up should be MSD80).
