E90 Auto-Tranny Reset DIY
I noticed that every once in a while that I would have terrible downshifts under moderate breaking to a stop.
I did some research and came across the procedure to reset the tranny adaptation and have since experienced very smooth upshifts and the 2-1 downshift is consistent as well. Insert key into fobgina, and press Start/Stop button ONCE. Press foot on accelerator pedal to the point that you hold down constant contact with the kickdown plate for atleast 30 seconds. After 30 seconds you are done! Go drive your car like you just stole it. |
