My problem was a turbo vacuum canister leak. Same symptoms. Could be a pinched vacuum line as well

I Appriciate the suggestion, i will consider changing the username, I have had this username since 16 when i bought my first car:Honda civic, its been more than like 10 years, just so used to the username. Plus VTEC, not Vtech was a lot of fun in its time, but they screwed up when they came up with iVTEC
Anyways i guess it was the Traction control that killed the power do to wheel spin on second gear.

Cheers.

Calm down . Read your posts back....doesn't sound like you know what you are talking about. Think maybe you should call a dealer/indy? You will never get a solution here with an explanation like you gave us.

It could be a lot of things. Turbos themselves can seize. There could be wastegate problems or fuel pressure problems or something as simple as a leak between the manifold and the turbo.

You have to diagnose the car.

I had a Grand National with a seized turbo. The car ran but it made like 1/3 the power.

A siezed turbo just means it cannot build the pressure aka boost.

Thats what i mean. I think this guys traction control keeps kicking in. If Turbo was seized it would be brutally slow all the time. That GN was an amazing car. Made way more HP than GM advertised didnt it?

I actually experience an issue where if you are losing traction while going full open throttle, the engine rpm
climbs but the car doesn't continue to accelerate. This happens while dsc/dtc is flashing.

What this suggests to me is that somehow the Ecu is throttling back the wastegates so while the turbos are still spinning, the power is not delivered to the engine since it becomes bypassed.

So at first I thought the wheels are spinning but that's not the case. I only lose traction for a split second and then I can tell once I'm straightened out, I can feel the engine become a 328i at 5000rpm and suddenly I feel this jolt at 6000rpm like the engine came back to life

You must have automatic transmission. Revs may climb a little but very little and only briefly as brakes grab rear wheels when loss of traction is detected.

OK took the car to the dealer from where i bought the car, and they hooked it up to the computer, No codes came up, car is working fine according to the diagnoses.

last night i pushed the car up in the ranges of 5-6k and the engine light poped up. Mind you this is not the little orange engine sign that comes on the top of the cluster screen, this is where all the little warnings pop up. Car just lost power, turned into a 328 non turbo until i shot off the engine and turned it back up. What is happening???!! it doesnt like to go past 4-5k RPM?

Bellow you will see the image of the engine light.

Have you tried going down these wet roads with DSC off?

I had a similar problem where my car would go into limp mode if I pushed it above 4000rpm. Turned out to be a bad injector and low fuel pressure sensor. The dealer was kind enough to throw in a free spark plug.

I Actually had the TCS/DSC on and was on highway around 80 KM/h and jumped to 3rd gear and went up to 5k or so and the light came up, so it cant be the traction control system as in that speeds the car wouldn't be feeling any tire spins.

Ok i dont know if this will make any difference in the diagnosis, but the sound coming out of the exhaust becomes really deep and louder!? I like the sound but not the no turbo situation. It happened again today on second gear passing 4-5K RPM.
