HPFP :(

I don't drive my car all that often and it sucks balls that the HPFP finally got me

I have been experiencing the car shut down on power when I went Half throttle and or WOT. The car would just stop as its being cutoff. Took car out today and went WOT and it's was pulling until about 4500 rpms and then the loudest backfire I have ever heard, like a gun shot!!! Lol. Then the SES light which before it just stumbled and after stopping the car would idle all weird and stuff like misfiring, but turning on and off the car, everything was normal again until I went half or full throttle. Look at codes and I have all the usual suspects. 2a2d, 2aaf, and 29dc that it's a failing HPFP Sucks balls as I only have 10K on the odometer. Freaking water pump went out on me at 7000k. This car really sucks sometimes.

i have no warranty on my car anymore as it is expired as of June this year, and I am going to bring the letter of the 10year/120k with me to the dealership fully bolted on! lol I could imagine the look they will give me, but this is not a warranty issue here, but a recall of a defective part! Do you guys think they will give me shit about my bolt ons? They can't deny me warranty for a part thats on recall correct regardless if I am modded or not?

For those that had issues with their HPFP...besides the misfires, did anyone also get a huge loud BACKFire in the exhaust then coupled with SES light? I read alot of people just get misfires and then SES...I was pushing the car hard when it happened.

Either way I dont care a rats ass about the dealership...Warranty for a recalled item should be exchanged...If they dont want the work at least give me the recalled item and I find someone to do it for me, or worse case I man up and do it myself

Lol chill out man. It was a recall. They'll take car of it. Worst case scenario just remove your mods if the give you shit about them.

The car is throwing a 2A2D fuel low pressure system, fuel pressure code. When ever I hit 4000 rpms the car would just shut off power and then feels like it runs on 3 cylinders until I turn it off and then on. I have not gone WOT with this issue, but today I wanted to test it WOT and it when I hit over 4500 rpms there was a loud backfire and the car threw a SES light...Checked the codes and were the following 2A2D, 2AAF, and 29DC. I cleared the codes and then took the car for another test and when I hit 4000 rpms the car felt like injectors cut off, let the car rpms go down and its fine, but as soon as I hit the throttle pass 4000 rpms, the car would just shut down.. I went home and checked codes again after the initial LOUD backfire which threw the 3 codes I posted above along with SES light and this time I got 2A2D code for the low pressure system...I checked with inpa for the fuel low pressure sensor...What do you think? Its just the LPFP or my HPFP going bad....Check out INPA and the low pressure sensor reading...Is that normal for such a low reading?

Spoke to Shiv and based on my codes and the way the car is acting up, he thinks it's my LPFP. I just took out my rear passenger seat and it doesnt seem like a hard install and replacement. I am going to change it out myself. Hopefully it's my problem.

Decided to change out the LP sensor first like some suggested...Hope it fixes my issues...If not then my next move is changing out the LPFP...

POS LP sensor was a bitch to get to...Intake, charge pipe, throttle body, Intake manifold all had to come out to get to this stupid sensor FTML

Once you have access to sensor it take literally 2 minutes to get out.

A pic of the POS sensor that was changed out.
