If you're in Toronto, I'm sure Picus could help you. It's best to have an experienced person help with this on your first time. I did it myself, and it looks decent. You just have to prep the area, fill in the touch up paint little by little, then use some 3000-5000 unigrit sanding blocks along with some lubricant to smooth it down. It'll look like you're damaging the paint, but don't worry - with an orbital polisher, you can get it right out.

Well, you can always just fill it in with touch up paint and see how that goes. I just like things as perfect as I can make it. Filling the chip in with touch up paint will be better than nothing!

just get a very fine paint brush, so that way you make it as smooth as possible and sand it as little as possible.

don't do the toothpick, you'll end up w/ a 'blob' of paint that extended above the good paint.

like already mentioned, get a very fine paint brush - got mine at the local stationary store - and do many, many very thin layers. the key is to get paint in the chip only and not on the surrounding good paint. and not to create a blob. if you do this you don't really have to sand or use the LANGKA method.

alright, ill give it a shot...maybe LoL. I have a huge scratch on the other side of the car that a shop is going to try and fix up for me. now if i were to let this shop do the work for me, its possible that any mistake they make could be buffed out, correct?
