Pic Request -Pre Lci Msport Splitters + Lip

So I'm interested in the msport front for my pre lci.

I love the way the F30 msport looks with the performance lip, and Psmitty was able to achieve a similar look on his E90. Has anyone seen a splitter + lip combo on the E92? This is the route I would love to go. I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

Here is Psmitty's front (hope you don't mind me posting)

Ideally I would like to take these splitters (w-design's ride) and pair them with a sharp lip like the LCI E92 performance lip (not sure if this even fits the pre lci, let alone a pre lci with splitters..) And it might be difficult since it looks like the splitters hang a bit lower than the mouth of the bumper.

If you need a splitter theres this really high quality company APR racing that will do a custom front splitter. Basically I think you take cardboard and draw how you want it on the car then ship them the cardboard and they send you cf splitter back. Could be worth a try if you can't find one that you know for sure will work

Yes!!

I remember seeing this car and completely forgot about it! I wonder if I could mold the splitters and go with the kerscher lip.

Any ideas? Recommended paint scheme for the side splitters?

Here's a space grey one. I'm in the same boat as you, I don't know what I'd like to do as far as lips go. I kind of like this splitter + kerscher lip combo but I don't really like that the splitter wraps around to the side of the bumper, it doesn't look that clean in my opinion.

Exactly!

If you take a look at Psmitty's, it stops from wrapping all the way.

I wish we had that option on the E92

I'm so tempted due, the kerscher is great but I would want something a little thinner, and the cuts in the kerscher don't line up well with the bumper. With APR I might try to contour the shape around the splitters, or just keep it all a smooth curve.

I'll have to see how much I can save by this summer. I'd love to mold the splitters I think and go with the APR lip

I know it's pricey, but I just decided to go with the BMW performance carbon fiber splitters at Morristown BMW- with my 25% CCA discount and 15% off labor I can keep it under 800 I think fully installed, and guaranteed by the dealer.

I might even do the carbon fiber mirror caps at 240 piece- we'll see what the spring brings.

Which lip, and splitters do you have, and how did you rig them up like that, (3m tape?)? They look cool, I'm thinking of changing my set up since I just got hit, and your's is the only e90 msport setup that I particularly like.

The side splitters are just reps of the BMW ones and the underside is a Mode Carbon GTS splitter that was meant for the E9x M3's. I have the side ones on with double sided tape and the underside with a ton of screws and in the middle some nuts and bolts. I originally did only self tapping screws and it came off at 100 MPH so now it is on with nuts and bolts too

Thanks for the info! And props for doing something unique! After hearing the details I don't think I will do it though it sounds like a pain to rig up.

Yea and it was miserable when it came off. I was about 10 miles from the shop on the highway and had to drive back at 35 MPH listening to it flap and scrape the ground with my blinkers on. It was a two lane highway and everyone that passed by was so pissed I was holding up one lane it sucked
