XI Tire Tread matter?

Guys, Ive seen some threads on here regarding running different tread depths on the XI's. Mostly regarding the tolerance the system has for a new or used tire added to the set that may be at a different wear level. I recently got a great deal on two Front Michelin Pilot PS2 (non RFT) and two Rear Michelin Pilot Super Sports. (Its a staggered set up, 225/40/18 FR, 255/35/18 rear). Anyone see a potential issue running the brand new PS2's front and the Super sports (also brand new) in the back? Thanks

I would run the same tires on all four wheels. The sizes are fine though. Same as the OEM sport package size.

I heard that it can mess up the transmission if you run different treads in the front and back, although I haven't actually heard of anyone having any problems.

I did run a staggered set up on my last AWD e92 and didn't experience any problems.

I may have found a definitive answer. Im kind of in a bind because Michelin discontinued the non RFT PS2's in 255/35/18 (of course). So Im stuck having to put the closest possible thing on my rears of my staggered set up. Their recommendation as a replacement is the Super Sport. This chart tells me the difference is much less than the 1% window recommended window to avoid damage. Thoughts?
