Bad Jb4 dyno results but car seems fine? Please someone help!
I dont have direct access to a windows laptop to do a log. I may be able to get my hands on one this weekend but me and all my friends have macs. Im going to post my dyno it shows that my stock car (with downpipes) dyno's better than with my jb4 in map 2. However while driving I feel a good power difference throughout the RPM band and the car feels really good. Also all the JB steering wheel features work perfect. The car has was dyno'd multiple times in 4th gear no kickdown button was pressed. This is also the second time bringing it to a dyno with similar results. I have no clue what is going on. It seems like on the road my car is fine but it refuses to dyno.
ALSO: on the dyno the car refuses to go above 6-7 PSI but on the road my boost gauge shows 15-16PSI. Any reason for this? Any help would be so greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance guys! |

I don't know much about dynos but did you make sure the oil temps are not cold when you dyno? The reason I am saying this is because I was told that the JB4 doesn't turn on until the oil has warmed up.

That was my first thought as well. Oil temp has to get up to 160 before the JB4 activates.

Clearly the tune is off for most of the dyno run. Probably some failsafe system. Unless you are able to datalog don't waste your time or money on dyno testing as you won't really know what is going on.

Oil temps were good and traction completely off something doesn't allow my car to obtain more than 5-7psi on the dyno. Yet on the street my boost gauge shows 15-16 and the car feels great, smooth like butter. It's just really frustrating as one can imagine why my car refuses to dyno

I was reading other people's dyno results and they all state their car is running 14-16PSI boost with their JB. I'm just utterly baffled as to why my car refuses to use boost on the dyno yet on the street im putting out 14-16PSI with 93 octane and catless DP's

I wonder if I'm the only one who's dyno'd a 2013 135 with jb4 cuz this may be a common issue. I'm starting to think its a load issue where my car doesn't feel the right load on the dyno thus refuses to put out boost

It could just be the Dyno and not your car because you say you feel the power on the road. If anything go re-dyno it. Hopefully everything gets sorted out for you

I dyno'd on two seperate dyno's both are dynojet and the car refuses to put out boost on the dyno. Weird thing is, in stock mode the car puts out the same amount of boost but dyno's better. With map 2 on the car puts out around the same boost as stock but shows a much uglier dyno. On the road however the car feels great. Very fustrating. Terry just wants me to data log it but I dont want to spend another 120 to data log my car on a dyno. I can do a street log to ensure my car runs good on the street but even that is such a pain in the ass. Im going to put a video up with boost gauge active of a 40-100 pull. Link will be below

That was map 2 do you think my jb is bad? should I just send it to terry to have it replaced or looked at? I don't have time or a windows laptop to data log. It's a tune it should work if not it should be replaced or refunded. If that video looks like its not working, please someone tell me because Im really frustrated =\ |

If anyone leaves on Long Island that can data log it and knows how to access the tune and wants to make some money let me know. Otherwise at this point I don't know if I should keep it in or take it out. It feels faster to me but the car won't dyno with it
