Is the cylinder closest to the front of the car considered 1 on 335i?

Im pretty sure the cylinder closest to the front of the car is cylinder 1 I just wanted to confirm it. Anyone know for sure. Its for the 335i. thanks in advance

yes, confirmed. cylinders 5 and 6 are closest to the cabin and known to get hot in case you don't have appropriate oil-cooling.
