Blackfire wet diamond sealant on headlights?

Can i use Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish sealant on headlights? After I throw some meaguairs 205 polish on them?

Not sure if polishing them and throwing this sealant will cause any issues. Just wanted to give my headlights some extra protection.

Absolutely. Nothing wrong with that approach. The only thing i would add is a good iso alc wipedown after the 205. blackfire likes a perfectly clean and bare surface to bond to.

Awesome man thanks again for all the advice! Thanks exactly what I needed to know. Will def. do the whipedown!

My headlights are in great condition on my M5, but just wanted to add protection. So a light polish and some sealant I think wouldn't harm it only help.

You can even seal with a paste wax over the BFWD. Plastic has a top coating so treat it almost like paint. Once the coating wears, hellllooooo hazy headlights!

You mean to say I can straight up use a wax on the headlights? The only thing I've thought of doing so far is just treating my headlights with PlastX or Shine Restorer every couple of washes just to be sure that they are protected. I would hate to see my headlights hazing in the future, and it's got me paranoid since my car is always outdoors.

if all you are doing is polishing the headlights, then a sealant is fine. If you were gonna wetsand them to try and get the scratches/imperfections out, then use a permanent sealant made for headlights like opti-lens.

I used BFWD on my headlights at the moment. There is no problem with it. BFWD can be used on your windows too!
