335i Software Update?

I have a 2008 335i with only 11k miles on it. It needed its first oil change and brake fluid service so I brought it into the dealer a few days ago. It was running fine prior to bringing it in, but now it feels even better. The engine feels smoother and more lively. When the car goes in for routine service do they update the software? I didn't think to ask. They did the cabin filter as well, but the paperwork said something like "standard scope per CBS", or something to that effect.

I think the sat radio may be operating a bit differently too. Is there a place where you can see your software version? Just curious.

Thanks

How long did they take your car? Usually a software update takes a day.

Does your receipt say anything? It surely will be indicated on it.
