It's nonsense. How can you play devil's advocate when it comes to judging a regime like North Korea? And as far as "trust our establishment" is concerned, there's informed skepticism and there's paying attention to any conspiracy theory nutcase with a keyboard and an internet connection.

Im not judging any regime. Just making an observation about brainwashing.
North Korea is certainly a secretive state, so secretive in fact that I dont think a one hour documentary by the BBC is going to give more than a flavour. Ive no doubt that North Koreans see us in the West as nasty, anti North Korean terrorists just waiting for the opportunity to invade. It must be true because that's what THEIR media has told them. I wonder if the average North Korean joe is anything like what we are told? |
