E92 328i BMW performance exhaust startup/rev vid
I would like to thank Evan and Jason for their support in making the GB happen. I just got the exhaust installed by my local muffler shop. The install took 15 minutes flat and it cost me $60. Better than the $532 and 4.5 hrs that BMW wanted.
Initial impressions: The exhaust is quiet from the inside. You get a small hint of aggresiveness upon the initial start up. The exhaust is a lot more aggresive and throatier from the outside. That is just what I wanted. Here is my short video. EDIT: Added another video

Sounds good. I did notice a slightly odd sound in the first video. When you revved the engine at standstill and then let the revs go to idle. Right before idle it was kind of a funny flat sound.

Yep I hit 2k miles back last September and am encroaching on 10k fast.
It comes with Y pipes. Replaces everything after the secondary cats. BMW wanted $625 install ~4.5 hrs of labor. I took it to a local muffler shop with good raves for $60 and 15 minutes.

Great exhaust note. Not too Fast and Furious. Still classy, IMO.
If you don't mind me asking , what did you pay for the exhaust? Is this the same exhaust BMW advertises on their website? Thanks. |

No way I was going to pay msrp on this piece. So I started a GB through Tischer and got it for $1004 shipped. This is the same exact unit that BMW sells on their site for way more.
