335i e92 passenger rear light problem
hi my rear passenger side light keeps blowing, i unplugged the light cluster and had a good look in it and seems that the connector for the bulb looks burnt on the connection points...is it possible to just source the bit that the bulbs go into and replace the whole unit as it is just plug and play? if so what is it called please

If it's still in the 3 yr warranty period the dealer will replace the unit, the problem you describe is a well known fault. The same should apply if you have a AUC warranty,or Mondial insured warranty. You might also be lucky and it's covered under A N Other warranty. |

This is the bulletin.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...29&postcount=7 Maybe BMW UK will give you some goodwill on this, but check the parts department for the price on the bulb holder. It looks to be $20 so it may not be worth the hassle of paying them diagnostic fees etc and trying to convince them if its that cheap. Dead simple to change. |
