Update. Start time: 10.00 am. Parking & General arrangements: Only five cars at a time are to be located at or near Charlie's, the remainder are to be left in the car park. Once you have had your car dynoed please take you car back to the carpark, and return to Charlie's by shanksies, or if you are not staying then thanks for coming & bye Location: On the link below it shows SRR and the car park. As you enter through the manned barrier, the car park is on your left, if we all meet there at or around 10.00 am the first five cars can drive across to the location http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&...14613&t=h&z=17 Duration: Each car will be on the rollers for approx 15mins. Refreshments: Tea & Coffee will be available, if anyone wants something else (Coke/soft drinks etc) than please let me know & I'll see what I can do. (No alcohol, bring your feckin own!) I'll see what we can arrange in terms of bacon/sausage/egg rolls/baguettes nearer the day. Vegetarian options are of course available - the woods, along with some grassy knolls are very, very nearby! Payment: Cash or Cards (not playing) Proposed running order (To date): Note: I've tried to do the order based on requests and distances travelled to SRR and back home, if someone wants to get in earlier, take my place, I'll be there for the duration. 1. Antman - M3 2. m1bjr (Steve) - 335i 3. Newmanman - 335i 4. Hotcoupe - 335D 5. Biscuits - Z4M GHD Special 6. JLR1969 - SLK 55 AMG 7. Zltm089 - 335i 8. Magic77 - 320D 9. Ed - M3 There are currently 9 runners and we need 10 to get the sessions for £35.00,less than 10 runners and it's £40.00 (still a bargain ) Based on the latest odds at William Hill's, Kev (Zltm089) will be a non starter as he'll pull at the last moment , so realistically we are down to 8 runners at present. If anyone wants to dip out at any point, please update the thread. A fiver is a fiver to Ed, Antman & Jon, and represents 5-10 mls of motoring pleasure |

Looking good Ian. My car should be up to temp for the run
Pls tell me they use front chocks though? I'm very concerned with only strapping the car down by the suspension arms (which are not designed to take the type of movement one gets from a dyno) and do not wish to have it smash into a fan. Last time my car was dyno'd, it moved into the front chocks on several occaisons. |

Count me in guys! Although thats not for defo, got to see nearer the time if thats ok. Would be good to get a dyno run though as I just fitted a new valvetronic exhaust system and would be good to see if there are gains and if so, how much etc etc....

We are still in for this... although it might not be the Z4M but something else So RWD or 4WD
I've used SRR before (535d) and it'd be handy for Charlie to have the cars run in order so the rolling road doesn't need to be setup each time (the wheelbase changes the length of the RR and a bit of a faf if each time it needs changing). Sure Charlie will sort this, but just a heads up. |
