anybody selling 162's?
anybody have a set of 162's with tires they want to sell? I prefer to find a set close to chicago that I can see/transact in person, but am possibly willing to entertain shipping.
Assuming the rims have the sensors, I assume I can just swap out with what I have (stock 159's on 06 E90 330), and leave my current sensors mounted on those rims? The original set would become my winter set up, hence wanting to leave those sensors where they are. Am I correct that this is just an easy swap? Sorry, but am pretty ignorant as to what these sensors really are, where they are located, how they integrate with the car, etc. And have never changed out rims on a car in my life. So any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Off the top of my head I thought that the 330 had the old system, so no monitors to worry about. You could use either a set with the in-tire monitors and remove them, or a set without the monitors to begin with.

thanks. what do you mean, the "old system"? I have runflats, and the tire pressure set/alert function (which I know isn't really measuring pressure).
Aren't the 06 E90's the same as the 07 E90's in this regard, i.e., isn't a set of 06 E90 162 rims/tires/sensors identical to those on an 07 E90 162? thanks. |
