Hey guys,

Just thought I'd post a fun thread about a little project of mine. Step 1 is the front end. Step 2 & 3 is skirts and rear; to come.

Just dropped off my euro Mtech bumper to John @ carstar for paint. It should be ready for install next week!

Pics to be updated soon!

If anyone needs hook ups for paint hit John up.

CARSTAR Scarborough South

He'll definitely take care of you guys.

Cheers,

Nelio

Reasonable prices is all I can say.

It was awesome when I got there that he punched in my colour code, checked it out on the computer and immediately spit out 7 variations for BSM lol.

He then grabbed his colour booklet and was able to immediately match my paint from a colour pamphlet. Pretty kool, I'm very excited for next week.

Hey your car is Black Sapphire right?
If so, do you think he would mixup some extra paint and put it into an aerosol or just a can for me?

Have you considered adding 3D style splitters to your mtech molded on with a CF lip underneath? I don't know if that's your style/taste, but there's a car on here that looks pretty damn sweet with the setup. You've probably seen it already but if not let me know and I can send a link.

I do want a lip or some form of splitters that will go well on the Mtech, but I have to do some research first because I like being unique
As for the arisol can, I doubt he'd have anything like that lol...hell, I'd want 1 myself for touch ups.

I got my bumer from SG_335i (think that's his screen name) - he sold his car so I picked this up.
-another member (Muirin) also has some mtech stuff which I think you should give him a shout about.

Update:

These are pics of the car curently....

I have to say, I'm going to miss the aerokit front end, but I'm shooting for a special lip on the mtech front end that no one has or something very rare.
I'll also be doing the same for the sides and back, but that's step's 2 & 3.

More pics to come once the painted bumper is finished

Very nice, that is my plan once I finish stage one of my project but the lighting on the pics makes it hard to see the curves of your new bumper.

Thanks for all the kind words thus far - I know the pics suk (iPhone) and it was like 6pm after work.

I'm planning to do some serious research for a perfect fitment lip that will compliment the mtech bumper. That's for after winter. Then phase 2 & 3 in doing M3 skirts with a unique rear.

There was a recent thread about a really nice CF lip for the M-Tech bumper, its making me contemplate going with an M-Tech bumper this spring. You should check it out

So far my favorite lip is the rep 3D lip made by LTBMW that fits nicely on the m-tech bumper.

Anyone know where on their website I can find pricing and shipping info? I can't seem to find it?....

Maybe ill have my fiancé retrofit something and make my own unique design.
