Need help with rear seat tab thingy

My niece pulled out one of those tabs in the rear seat and now I am having trouble putting it back in. Can anyone help walk me thru on putting it back in?

here is example of what it looks like.

push in w/ some force, most of them just clip right in

theres tabs on the side. if i use force it will break the tabs off.
