Light Warning on Display

So this is pretty simple and I don't know if there's an easy fix or something that I don't know about but I replaced my license plate bulbs with white LED ones and now my E90 is telling me I have a light out. I know I don't, they both work and there's not a light that's out anywhere else. Any suggestions on a quick fix?

Probably not canbus LEDs and it's causing the bulb check to throw an error because it's expecting a different wattage use

So is there any way to get the warning light to turn off?

Yeah, I'd buy error free ones if I knew what the problem was.

Pull the code and it will tell you which bulb is out or supposedly out.

When the light bulb error appears, push in on the stalk and hold. It will display a CC-ID.

Then google the CC ID and it will tell you which bulb is throwing the error.

The most common error is the brake light and it's also the most missed error because some vehicles have 4 brake light bulbs but if 3 are working you really can't tell that 4th is not working. That's typical for E92 though.

Other times errors can exist when there is a week ground or if you switched to an LED that is not canbus compatible.

none of our License plate lights have any error codes, and they all have built in can-bus already from the design.

I have this same issue but I have had the LED lights for over a year before the error started coming up. Does anyone have an idea of why that would be the case?

And what answer are you expecting? we have already given you options, there is no easy fix.. if the licenseplate led is the cause of the warning; add resistor to them.. or buy new with canbus support.. or Coding... thats the 3 options you have..
