At What Speed Do You Start Feeling Unsafe?

After reading all these Shift Sector threads it made me want to do 140 down residential streets. (Obviously I didn't)

Fastest I've gone on a local track is about 145mph and I was scared sh%tless. Thinking how these guys are doing 160mph+ takes some balls even in a somewhat controlled environment.

I have AST coils and m3 rear parts but as much as the weight of this car hinders it's performance I think it also helps it feel much more stable at 100mph+

So what speeds does everyone feel comfortable with in their 3 saying it's on a closed course, good weather and no cops to worry about.

Fine fine, I go 9mph under the speedlimit all the time. I've been ticketed numerous times for going below the minimum limit and constantly get into fights for doing 10 second stops at a stop sign.

155 mph... Then the limiter sets in... On german autobahn ofcourse! And only when traffic and weather allows it...

Gees, all of you feel comfy at 140+ mph! I get nervous over 110 but the car still feels solid, I guess I'm not cutout for Nascar or Formula 1 then.

You can feel unsafe slipping an sliding going 15mph in the snow or 30-40 mph sliding but feel totally safe going 140 on a highway.

I've done the Nuerburgring in a Porsche 911 so there's not much that can get me feeling unsafe in my 335 E92 on the Highway. Yeah, given the right traffic and weather condition, and a lack of Radar Traps!

my top is about 145-150mph on e46 m3. my s2000 feels more safe/solid after about 90-100 mph, 120 is like walk in the park, havent gone past that though

Jan 1st early morning is the best day to speed

I set my record many years ago with 2.1 hours from downtown Manhattan to downtown Boston

Paranoid over 90mph, cops don't have a sense of humor when you're caught going that fast.

Start to feel unsafe around the 110-115 mark. Noise in the cabin is too much and I get a tich of shimmy.

176 mph on my yamaha r1 and I still had most of 6th gear left. Then the wind starting yanking on my helmet so I had to slow down. *This was on a closed course*
