335D JBD@80% > 1M on highway

Nothing else to say! We tried from 60mph to top speed and all 4 times I was ahead and taking distance!

The diesel has some serious power with the JBD. Have you had the chance to drive one? Taking a 1M wouldn't surprise me at all unless it were very heavily tuned.

335d is not a fast car from a dead stop! But on the highway , above 70mph is a different story!
I already killed a 2010 S6 V10, 2011 M3,2011 1M and a my friend's 1M as well ( he's tuned with a charge pipe) but this race was not set properly! I killed 5.0 new mustang, Audi S8 2008-9, TT RS 2011, S5, S4,Alpina B7 2013,stock 2009 911.

I did take a cobra mustang on the highway (last gen) from 65 on .. his gf was in the car as well ..he must have felt great. but also I know it is not seriously fast from off the line but reaches 60 in under 5 sec with a jbd (2nd gear start) so I was pretty sure I'd have no problem against a damn CAMRY!! lol

I disagree with that statement. Any car that can run 0-60 4.5 seconds on the street and do the quarter mile in under 13 seconds is a fast car from a dead stop.

In fact considering the power curve and gearing our cars do not stack up nearly as well when doing 60 - 120 mph runs as they do during a 0-60 or 0-100 mph run. Most turbo 6 or V8 powered sports cars/sedans will walk down the d during a 40 mph roll. However, when launched properly, the d will leap off the line (assuming you can get traction) like a bat out of hell, usually getting a very good jump on the competition and with the JBD tune the d can usually hold off a higher horsepower opponent up through about 100+ mph.

BTW, the Camry V6 is no slouch, they are known to hit 60 in the high 5 second range.

Whats the best way to get a fast start off the line?

When I am starting off the line I turn off the traction control, hold the brakes and rev the engine just enough to keep the tires from breaking loose. In most cases the tires break loose some but it's possible to get a good leap off the line. Try that with the traction control on and the engine practically shuts down while the other guy waves goodbye.

2nd gear launch at about 2300 rpm..careful to not.hit the kick down.....ease into throttle as traction allows.

Agreed above. but it also depends on outside temp. if you have the summer tires on you can launch at a high rpm (in 2nd gear) but when it starts to get cold traction will decrease and you will have to be more careful
