BMW Dealer valets

I notice BMW provide valets gold , silver etc
I am half tempted by the £70 one
Anyone ever had their car in for one of these clean ups ?
If so was it any good ?

I get mine done for free anytime I take it in. Seems odd to me that they charge you? They do outside and in - I don't like them doing the paint anymore since I noticed swirls.

We have a nice arrangement with our dealer, when we have some warranty work to be carried out we plan it so its done when we will be on holiday, so the the dealer looks after our car for us while we're away and valets it for when we return.

swirls is due to using a sponge right?

mainly yes but can be caused by any dirt rubbed across the paint.

Yep, but they only do it when you take it in for some other work. I don't think they wax it when they do this sort of courtesy clean either.

I have to say the wax finish applied to my car when I had some bodywork sorted out was ASTOUNDING.

I don't know what they used, but the car looked stunning. It had a VERY wet shiny look, which I haven't been able to replicate with other wax.

I don't know if that is what you get with the valet though.

My dealer will valet the car any weekend - car doesn't need any work doing - I can just drop it in and they'll clean it. No wax though!
