TC Kline Camber Plate Question...
Hey guys,
Just recently finished my install of my TCK S/A Coilovers with TCK camber plates. Love the coilovers, but that's not what I'm here to talk about. The problem I'm currently having is with the camber plates. After hours on hours of trying different configurations on the plates, I believe we finally found the correct orientation. After everything was settled and installed correctly, I went to get an alignment and with the camber MAXED OUT in the front, we were only able to pull around -1.2~ on the left and right. Caster was on the dial at 9.4. Does anybody who has these plates give me some more information on what should be the max? Because for -1.2 being that maximum, that sounds pretty weak, seeing as most of the other track guys are running at least -3 through -4 in the front with their plates. I tried contacting TCK and they have been less than helpful. Let me know what you all think. Thanks! |

Without M3 arms, you are limited to around -2.7 with just camber plates. Guys who run more than -3 have M3 arms and/or widened their shock tower openings (I personally feel sketched out by cutting parts off the unibody chassis, but a lot of guys do it anyway).
Post a picture of your shock tower openings, we can probably tell if the plates are installed correctly.

You should call your TCKR dealer and speak with them directly. Product specific questions is best answered by a dealer or manufacturer.

Agree. They are switched around (left and right sides) and also need to be rotated 30 degrees.
The tell is how the camber "slots" don't appear to be running perpendicular to the centerline of the car. |

They are marked so it's not easy to switch it around....maybe your installer got LH and RH confused?
