Stealership defined
Discovered when having new tires installed last week that one of my lift pads was missing. Have no idea how or when this happened.
Went to Budd's BMW yesterday and picked up 1 x part # 51717237195 lift pad at a cost of $26.16 plus 13% tax = $29.56. The same genuine BMW part # from ECSTUNING cost $11.62 US$. Why is it that Canadians are constantly being ripped off by most of the automotive manufacturers and their dealers? Of course the dealerships would argue blah blah blah about duties and taxes and less volume . Nothing but bull$hit ! GREED IS THE GAME. STEALERSHIP IS THE NAME. |

Don't feel bad I bet BMW of Sterling uses about the same price in USD
Seriously it's just what the market will bear, not everyone is with it enough to shop online and use the dealership for emergencies only. |

Reality is its not just dealerships, car parts etc. The Canadian market for literally everything is way overpriced. Go to buffalo and do some grocery shopping you will save yourself a good amount of money

not sure - I have always had a good experience with Tischer and they generally have the lowest parts and they cut me a break on shipping multiple items (to my US address) so I have gone with them 99% of the time. Plus, their return policy is very reasonable and Jason/Evan are both stand up guys and sponsors of the forum.
