Saw one in my local showroom the other day. Looked nice but I prefer the E92 M3. My dealer said no E90 M3's had sold at his dealership yet which surprised me

I know there's more to a car than it's looks, but that doesn't look like a £53k motor IMO

FFS - They don't even have the cop-on to put black lines on the M3 either!!!
I reckon the rear lip spoiler is going to become a sought-after accessory for a lot of E90 owners

I really like the M3 Saloon ... more so than the coupe version.
Normally I think the 3 coupe is better looking than the saloon, but I think the M3 is better in saloon form.

I just clicked edit then edit again - you have to do it twice for some reason?

I prefer the looks of the coupe M3 but I need a car with 4 doors so if I had the cash - I'd get the e90 M3 - I wouldn't pick that colour though - and yes it NEEDS blacklines.

Don't know if it's the colour of the M3 E90 - but it's looks drab to me.
Dissapointing in fact - First time I saw an M3 Saloon in a magazine I thought it looked pretty fine........... I agree this particular E90 doesn't look anything like a £53K motor Now this is what an M3 should look like..........my current desktop. |

An M3 should never come in convertable FFS
Its a drivers car and a drivers Machine The car ''to have'' purely for its performance and handling. Making a vert out of such a car makes it into a joke for me Like the M6, What a car, but then they make into a heavy vert

Carlos
Do you feel the same way about a Lambo Gallardo Conv? I've never driven an M3 so couldn't really comment if it ruins the car's drive. But lets be honest how many M3 conv customers really use the car to it's full potential.......it's for posing......right up your street I would have thought? PhilR |

I think the spoiler looks quite small, smaller in fact than the M-Tech option we have on our e90. Regards Chris

The Boxter is one of the best balanced cars about and that's a vert, or at least it was when I last looked

Nowt wrong with posing at all JJB
That's what an M3 Conv's all about.....isn't it ? especially with the new sequential auto box thingy BMW are bringing out? I reckon BMW UK will probably sell more M3 conv's than coupe's? - The hard roof will temp many in the UK and it's moved into another niche anyway with a £50K+ pricetag. I would gladly shoe horn my two bread snappers into the back seats and tear arse around posing in sub zero temperatures topless in that - LOL PhilR Last edited by PhilR; 04-03-2008 at 10:19 AM..
