Now that I made the move to Bmw from the evo I will be parking in that smaller lot where the beamers and Porsches park.

Yeah you are right.

For cookies and J 38, I was incorrect and what I was saying about the flash and e85. If you are running race flash and you ignore DME boost targets. And there is only pump around where you are, put it in MAP five, MAP five will automatically read your octane rating see that it isn't a higher rating and won't let you boost to the point where you are in danger. And some it won't take full of vantage of the aggressive timing and cause problems. However I do not recommend running race flash on pump for longer than you need to just long enough to be able to get to some e85

Oo fancy. Id say go 08 not 07. You'll get the forged internals. Also you will avoid the Kline. What is Kline? Don't worry just know down the road if you want to flash it BLOWS. Will drive you nuts.

It took me about 6 months to find the one I wanted. Took cookies a year.

Don't try to find one in a week bc then you will prob be settling and not getting want you want (unless you are one of the lucky ones).

But when you do pick one up, let us know we will have no problem coming out to help you evaluate it, fix it, tune it.

Good luck! PM me if you have any questions

Well, you are right, that is a bad roll.... but as others mentioned in that thread, it's a clean pull! hah. Too bad you didn't want a pull.

Personally, I don't mind a pull if it is the more of the flat part of the arch and not a little lip out. I was thinking it was going to be like Brian Marks' "332i" when he was prepping it. Those fenders were ROUGH when I saw them. Maybe he's gotten it smoothed out. Don't know if you guys know who I'm talking about. I don't know him, but knew his cars back when I hung out with some CCA guys.

Anyway, thanks for posting that thread, and it was good to meet you too, hopefully we can maintain a group of owners that like to caravan/meet up, etc. I enjoyed it.

Well hopefully it's not too bad... I have an '07. Maybe this is one more reason not to flash.

Not the one I want to sell, but seeing as how everything is for sale, PM me... If I can't work with you I may know someone who can. E90 or E92 or what?

Still I don't think there is enough station adoption for this to fly. I left the house with a 1/4 tank this morning, and it was cold, and I wanted a biscuit, so down the road I went. The gas light came on, and I'm not trying to stop and let my biscuit and myself get cold while pumping gas at 6am. Now I'm in RTP, and I don't think I can make it back to our BP. It's stuff like this that makes me think it is too inconvenient for me to dd. You can't sacrifice a warm biscuit man! Not to mention later in the week when it's going to be like 0 degrees! Polar vortex wtf. Looks like Map 5 for the (slightly less power) win!
