I'm trying to work out the timing. Need to boil congee for my baby before bringing her along. And also trying to convince my other half.

Bear in mind, don't ask me how much it costs in front of her!!! I'll be killed.

We are same as you ks! We will need to arrange many things before going out with my 1 yr & 8 months old son! Congee, milk, diapers, wet wipes, napkins, lotions, extra clothing, water, toys, snacks, bib, you name it

Of course we will not be discussing any "cost" topics, please don't ask me how much is the electric rear sunshade retrofit, too!

He is a very naughty driver if you know what I mean

BTW, HO, I think I saw your car last week in Tsuen Wan....

Where do you guys have your car washed and waxed?

Just managed to squeeze some time tonight to have an intimate moment with my car - thorough wash with a nozzle + shampoo, single layer turtle wax, vaccuming the interior and applying protective lotion on leather seats. Spent 1.5 hour in total and countless circular motion of my right arm

The tidyness and shiny look of the car is pleasing after the wash and wax - though I had a really good exercise and am now extremely tired

I usually wash and wax my E90. Last time when I wax it, I've spent 30mins just on the chrome exhaust tips

It will be better if you clay your car before applying the wax

I have my Philipino maid to wash the car every other morning. Then I wax it myself when I have time.

But I must say that Lexus really provides good after sales service .

For the headlamp unit, I am not sure whether it is a retrofir kits or the unit only as TONY ( Valiant) told me the price briefly. Now I start to regret not ordering 330i
HO, missed you a while.....
Me too....regret for not ordering Xenon at the very first beginning
Have you tried out other H1 blub? Last time, you told me Philips is not bright enough for you (I am still using it now). Any good suggestion ?

Oh, just checked with Valiant and my spoiler will be arrived sometime next week
RD, any points to note when installing this? Or you get someone to install this for you? I guess double-sided tape should be good enough
Should I wax before applying it?

Aren't we all (Halogen owners) regretting for not ordering Xenon at the beginning...

What is a H1 bulb?

I just bought some 4300K Philips H7 bulbs to replace the existing ones.....hope to have time to do it this afternoon.

Anyone tried to change the fog lamp's bulbs? It looks quite difficult.

kelvin, good to hear that you will get your spoiler next week. In theroy, 2020 and cntlaw will also get their parts too since I think they are all in 1 shipment.

I had my garage install it for me. I don't think you apply wax on the surface before sticking it on. I think actually you have to wipe the wax off that area (I am not sure but I watched my garage do the installation. Before they stick it on, they used some solution to clean the area first)

Make sure it is aligned when you press the spoiler on firmly and use plenty of good quality and weather resistance double sided tape. After installing it, don't wash your car for 24-48 hrs. You may use some masking tape to help holding the spoiler in place and the 2 ends may pop up abit so use masking tape to hold it in place until the double sided tape has cured.

Remember to use good quality masking tape that will not leave any residue after you remove it

Always test the fitment first before peeling off the double sided tape

Oh, my mistake.....should be H7!!!
I still remember the H1 on my E36 in the old days

RikuE90, why do you buy the 4300k only? There is a whiter version of (~5000k if I remember correctly) from Philips. I used this one now and it looks ok. (cannot compared to Bi-xenon )
