I'm interested in this intake kit, but from my knowledge, I only need K&N air filter right? The carbon fiber air box is just for showing and nothing relates to performance. What do you think guys?

I asked K W Tam this kit for under $400 and they said if $400, K&N air filter will be fake one. If real filter, then it will be $499.99. I think it is still expensive.

I got the real K&N too.

The kit comes with entire CF housing and

adapters that can connect the filters and pipe (the pipe that has little sensors on...)

dude, u can just buy the real K&N air filter and send ur car to a good carbon fiber shop in indo for the custom housing..ask erick for the shop, they're pretty famous i think he should know...this shop not only make parts using cf but also carbon kevlar etc.
considering the cheap labor price in indo, u'll save lots of money! good luck
