yeah the torque is where it's at. I like the new area under the curve. Really picks up after the torque/hp curves meet.

Hey frankie, did you dyno in 5th or 4th? I figure they ran 5th in the 135 dct since it has a 7spd tranny...

OP, Did you wring in some filter oil? If not, the dust will kill your motor.

Scratch that, it's oiled.

FrankiE90: Your car is putting down 350hp at the crank assuming 15% drivetrain loss?? If so, that is amazing.

Bringing up this old thread to report my first day with the
HPA Filter. Immediate change in acceleration resistance at the
foot. Much easier to push through at take off. Yes, I know it's wireless. A tiny bit more torque noted.
Don't hear much change at all. Without a butt Dyno
I can guess she is breathing a little easier. That's about it.

Thanks. I just have the PPK stage one, nothing fancy. Not sure how much of a difference it'll make, but checking it out!

Good Mod

I have a 2011 BMW N55 E92 with 6MT. The 6MT shifts were not smooth and were uneven. A lot of clutch modulation was required to decent shifts for normal around town driving. I put in a modified clutch delay valve to allow more fluid in the chamber, and this improved the shifts a little. I got this idea from this forum, thanks. I had the BMW power kit (software only) installed. This provided a nice increase in power, but the shifts were not any better, and I got a little turbo lag that wasn't apparent before. Next, I installed AFE air scoops which are very easy to install. You don't even have to remove the kidney grills, and you don't have to drill any holes. I really felt the power increase, and it even improved the shifts. I was still not satisfied with the shifts and the lag though so I ordered the HP Autowerke Foam Air Filter. This really made a difference. I get really good shifts now, a little more power and better throttle response. I had a K&N, but the HP filter really made the difference.

Running Cobb/PTF stage 2 agressive tune, and thinking about one of these oiled drop-in air filters...

Any concerns with oil damaging your MAP sensor?
Does more dirt reach the combustion chamber?
Does engine oil get dirtier, and need to be changed more often?

Thanks.
