Sounds like it's going to be spectacular. Do you have a trimmer in mind? if not I can recommend a great guy.

Nick
Is your rear LCI lights coded?
Only brake bars should lit whereas in your photos, brake lights are on as well.

Was somebody in the car and pressing the brake (if it is coded correctly)?

Think it's just the photo mak. Nothing's different since you snapped them. Just gone outside and they light up normally and get bright ( reflection on inner garage) when hit the brake pedal. However I don't think they have been coded properly as I noticed they flickered when started at the exhaust place.

The place that did them are great but novices with the auto logic. Could they have missed something for them to still flicker?

Yes, goldsmiths in Ipswich, small place but had a couple of interiors done by them.

I won't pretend it's not costing a few quid but I'm quite careful when considering costs and also the money I recoup from the sale of the oem parts.

If you meet Nick in Essex, please compare yours to his. There is something not right there in the photos mate (I may be wrong).

How is your M3 doing in the snow? Any trouble?

Will do mak. 100% sure it's just the the glare on the iPhone pic.

Just rechecked and they look like this,

And obviously get brighter when the brake pedals on.

I do need the to sort the flicker out, so will take it back to them to check. I recall reading another thread and the chap had them working but had not turned off something on auto logic, so had a flicker.

Oh, and it dosnt really go out in the snow. It did yesterday as I was impatient and wanted my backbox fitted. Couldn't hardly get up the slope to the exhaust place though!

It's now staying tucked up in the garage!

Thats fine matey. I guess it was iphone.

I guess you are keeping your beast safe in the snow, otherwise it is very hard to drive M3 in snow.

Cruising about in this Merc csl 350 Cdi. Slower than the 335d but nice to waft about in!

Not much happening in terms of the car. Wheel has been sorted and wrap sorted, but the wheel alignment is causing issues.

The body shops alignment system won't fit, the car then went to bmw, they said they'd rather not as its lowered so going to a race shop that specialises in tracking and also use bc coilovers on their race cars. Happy days!

My bbk is in the country.

Couple of interior bits arrived. Mats from chris ( m3cutters site sponsor and also on here now) in my custom colours, ( he can do other logos)

And some carbon fibre pedal covers. I will add a m badge in same colours.

All my badges will be re done in the top design thanks to Nevets, on the m3 cutters. This will include rear badge, engine badge, side vents, wheel badges etc.

Car should be back next week in time for 405mm front discs and 380mm rear discs to arrive :muttley:

Cant wait to see the BBK on your car!! Sorry didn't get in ordering with you, as not ready just yet but least someone else added on your order too. I will hopefully order in 2/3 months time!

Like the badges too, Nevets is a top bloke, done mine too and they look great! Makes it a nice personal touch...quality was spot on too! Done my side vent ones all white with 'M3' in black.

No worries. The brakes are stopped at customs at the moment as I think because there is 2 kits they are asking if I'm a business. I've had to confirm I'm a private individual going on private cars. Three kits might have been pushing our luck!

Hopefully be here this week. I'll be sure to show you them at a meet.

£65 inc postage. Chris is on here now. Think it's sales@******** is his tag. Or go 3 or 4 pages down in the classifieds to find his threads. You can have different logos and colours I think.

Hi Jamie. Cars away having its minor bump repaired so not really 'lived 'with the tubi yet.

Although saying that doesn't sound dissimilar to the one I took off. It seems to vibrate a bit through the car? Not sure if this is to with the earthing straps that weren't re fitted. I have read that these are fitted to do with reverb. Both were frayed so ordered new ones.

Also it's still drones a bit but at lower revs, 1500-2000k so better as dont sit in this range on motorways, but as said not really driven it yet.

Hopefully when the x pipe is on it won't make it to much louder!

Had a package waiting for me when I got home.

405mm floating front disc,

On a double bed,

A monster front caliper!

They are unbelievably big!!

A pic with the rear caliper. The rear disc is the same floating 2 piece but slightly smaller at 380mm

All calipers will have a custom m/// in silver applied prior to fitting. Braided brake lines inc aswell.

Just got to work out who and when they will get fitted now. Car not back from body shop till Friday so got a few days to decide.
