Hankook V12 Vs. Nitto INVO

Can anybody help me decide which tire would be a better choice? I don't track my car and it is used primarily for a daily driver and occasional spirited driving?

I cannot speak for the Nitto, but I can tell you that many have been quite happy with the Hankook Ventus V12 EVO for a value oriented summer performance tire that doesn't see track use.

I've had the hankooks for about 6 months and they have been great. 10x as smooth as the oem runflats. I'm running 8.5/9.5 wheels and 235/265 tires.

I have invos and love them. They are extremely quiet on the road and handling isn't too bad either. I would buy invo again.

I had Invos for nearly three years, good tire but replaced the Invos with Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas which were a huge improvement. I highly recommend the Vredesteins!!! Much better than Invos and V12s...

I've had the Invos and they are by far my favorite tire. Quiet, grip well, and last a good amount. I would definitely buy them again for my next set once my current tires wear out.

I've never had the Ventus V12's but I've heard good reviews and a few friends who have them swear that they're awesome tires. I'm considering them as my next set if I don't go with the Invos.

Ventus V12's all the way. I have never heard anyone suggest that an Invo was worth the price or even handle as well as the V12's.

Invo's were made for looks much like the BFG KDW. They just don't grip as well as they should.

I have the hankooks, but they are the only tires besides oem that Iv had on it, so I can't really compare. I like them and they are lasting pretty well. I use them for just street use.

You already know I got the V12s and no issues. However I am looking for a more rounded wall vs squared. I used to have the Falcon 452s and liked them.

I have nitro invo but in 20" sizes 245/30 & 285/25...they are not as good as say a PSS but are pretty good tire....traction is pretty good....hard to really say since I have done a ton of modding since my PSS so hard to compare them but I am getting PSS as my next set, they are superb in the wet weather and I feel the nitro gives back to much road feel (vibration). For your needs you would be very pleased with them, very quite tire. I have over 500hp so I feel the PSS is going to be better for me unless someone can suggest better. If I where you I would get the nitto or the PSS.

Thanks for pics guys. I'm actually going for a rounded sidewall for the set-up I'll be doing. So it looks like I'll be going with the Nitto Invo's.

I would say they're right up with the PSS. I've only had them on for about two months before I sold my 335i. Both, the dry and wet traction were excellent. I highly recommend the Vredersteins!!!

I've ran both tires as 275's and the Vredersteins were about a quarter of an inch wider than the Invos. From what I heard the Invos run smaller, while the Vredersteins run wider. The Verds looked beefier than the Invos on my car.

so they actually run a bit bigger like the PSS do...wonder if a I can fit a 285/30 or a 295/30 on a 42 offset rim (fenders rolled of course). My nitto 245/30 in front rubs bit but that is because I am dropped to damn much....coil-overs will fix this. My 285/25 in rear fits no problem....want a bit more sidewall and width if possible and love the looks of the verds!
