IPod system help
Hi,
I've been trawling the forum and ebay and I can't get a definitive answer! I have a 57 plate 318D M Sport with the professional radio, no cd changer unit, and only the aux in connector in the centre console, no usb. Is there anyway, without spending hundreds, I can connect my ipod up so I can charge it and use the steering wheel controls to change tracks? I've seen things on ebay, but the majority of them are not compatible with the 3 series e90 after 2003?!?!? Anyone?! Cheers! |

ipod retrofit. The kit is about 200. Then you have to have it installed (you can install it yourself) and then the car has to be programmed by your BMW center (100 or so).

Mine is the one that keeps the ipod in the glove compartment...It charges the ipod as well, except for the latest ipod nano. It replaces the CD changer...CD1 becomes "Playlist", CD2 becomes "Artist", CD3 becomes "Albums", CD4 "Genre", CD5 "Podcast" and CD6 "songs". Its pretty good, better than the one in the E46 generation. Once you pick from CD 1-6, you can scroll using the right side dial of the stereo, and once a song is played, you can use the steering wheel to move up and down the list.
