e36 clutch replaced under warranty at around 20,000 miles. The car would shudder something fierce when slipping the clutch in stop and go traffic.

I had my e46 330i zhp clutch replaced. The day I bought the car CPO (at 24k miles) I noticed a slight knocking/rattling sound in neutral that went away when I pressed the clutch. It took me three dealer trips and two different dealers to get this (and the wear on the alcantara steering wheel) accepted and they found a bad throwout bearing and gave me a new clutch. It was still under original warranty of course, this would have been hard with just cpo.
Then I sold the car. |
