Size question for Gary - winter - '09 335ix
Gary - yep, it is ceb from Audiworld - I've bailed from VAG - will a 16" wheel fit an '09 335ix? If so, which Tirerack wheels will fit (preferably without spacers)
I'd much rather run a narrower, taller sidewall for winter. Thanks Last edited by ceb; 08-28-2009 at 11:39 AM.. Reason: typo |

16 will be an extremely tight fit because 335 models come with bigger front/rear brakes so you will have clearance issues. My recommendation would be to try to get OEM 17" wheels and fit those with winter tires.

No, 16" will NOT fit any 335i, the smallest you can fit is 17".

16" doesn't fit for sure, but a handful of 17" will clear that are listed in the 'winter' area of the site here : http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AH8&...nter/index.jsp . Two of the more popular choices are the Sport Edition A7 and Rial Salerno.

you can always go with classified section and pick up a set of used 17in (see my sig). Many people selling those i bet. I have 17in style 161 and am very happy with how they look plus the ride is excellent.
btw, 16s wont fit as others said - brakes are too big. At least 16 in OEM wheels wont' fit, that's a fact.
