Screw in right front RFT...

Brought the car to the dealership (have tire insurance).

SA: "Sir, we found metal pieces in 3 of your tires. Your fourth looks a little worn, you want that replaced too?"

No, thanks.

3/4 tires replaced. Tires were looking a little worn!

None lost pressure. Don't know how long I had the metal in there.

That's 5 tires now replaced with the insurance. I think it's about $360/tire, retail, installed at the dealership. I'm glad I got the insurance, to say the least.

Of course, that passenger front tire has now been replaced 3 times!

Happy for you but damn. Are people droppin screws and nails all over your roads or something? That seems excessive.

The mechanic had to submit digital photos of the metal in the tire, to the tire insurance company, before the tires were replaced.
